Pet First Aid and CPR Classes
Classes are 5 hours long at a cost of $75.00 and include a handbook, certificate and wallet card. During Class there will be some items available to get you started with your own pet first aid kits.
We will be covering topics such as:
Head to tail check ups, Muzzling and safe approach, How to check vitals (pet’s pulse, respiration, temperature, capillary refill time and hydration),bandaging and splinting, rescue breathing and CPR and what to for: bloat, burns, choking, constipation, diarrhea, drowning, electric shock, frostbite, heat stroke, insect stings, poisoning, seizures, shock and snake bites. We will also discuse the iteams in a first aid kit and its use. Disaster prepareness and more….
Classes taught by lecture, demonstration and hands-on skills practice using stuffed animals as well as canine and feline CPR mannekins. Although we love ‘em, please leave your loving pets at home while you learn.
REFUND POLICY: A portion of your class will benefits pet oxygen masks for fire fighters through
the Emma Zen Foundation therefore refunds will only be issued with 72 hours advance written notice of classtime to maximize funds raised. If you contact later, your class fee will be credited towards the next class you are available to attend within the next 6 month period or then will be defaulted

I grew up in a barn, litterally. Horses, cows, donkeys, goats, chickens,
rabbits, ducks, birds, dogs, cats, lizard, tortoises, etc. The etc is for all
the stray’s I brought home. Much of my experience as been hands on
for most of my life. Back in 2007 I became certified in Pet First Aid and
today I am fortunate to teach the Sunny-Dog Ink protocol.
I am also the president of the Emma Zen Foundation a 501 c 3 which
focuses on pet safety. We raise funds for Pet Oxygen Masks kits, Pet
First Aid Kits and Pet Safety Tags and donate them to specific demo-
graphics. A portion of your classe funds are donated towards pets
